Motions of pistons in engines, inching cars through rush-hour traffic.

Rhythmic, unfailing music of the lungs and the heart.

What’s more amazing than things not working as usual? The fact that they work in the first place.

And when something hits pause on normal, it’s clear how delicate the balance is.
