In the mornings the clouds rolled through the window as I slid out of the top bunk onto the icy stone floor. I learned to connect to nature on weekend hikes through the lush forests, candidly chatting about life with teachers, alumni, and the principal.
If I took one thing away it was a sense of questioning the human’s relationship to his environment, both immediate and global, and being conscious of impacts across orders of time.
